Emily works from an attachment-based perspective, recognizing the impact of past relationships and working with clients to shift the ways of relating to others that no longer serve them well. Parents who know they want to raise their children differently than how they were raised but struggle to do so effectively benefit from working with Emily. She has advanced training and experience in infant mental health and uses play-based relationship-focused therapies in working with families with young children. She also loves to work with adults who are trying to navigate what it means to be in a healthy relationship with themselves and others. Emily is fluent in Spanish and enjoys working with immigrants and clients from Hispanic cultures. She believes that wholeness is possible, and she is looking forward to walking alongside you and your loved ones as you heal, learn, and grow together. Emily sees children, adults, and families in both English and Spanish. Her areas of focus include parenting, trauma, spirituality, cross-cultural challenges, and life transitions. Emily also can incorporate Biblical counseling if desired.
